In addition to a wide range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, The Ship is proud to be able to offer the following wide range of facilities, all under one roof.

FIRST FLOOR FUNCTION ROOM - We have an upstairs function room that seats 60 people comfortably, but can accommodate up to 100. It also boasts an outside terraced area equipped with seating and a smoking area. It is ideal for office parties, wedding anniversaries, birthday parties etc. and is also suitable for training courses, conferences, presentation evenings and club meetings. We have a bar and buffet area and we can cater for your event or, if you prefer, you can bring your own cold buffet. Unfortunately there is no disabled access to this area as entry is via staircases.

GROUD FLOOR FUNCTION ROOM - Our ground floor function area has easy access for wheelchairs and buggies and is ideal for family gatherings, christenings, funerals, wedding anniversaries etc. or, if you're extremely lucky, even retirement parties! We have a stage and a dance area along with a bar and ample room for buffet food. We can cater for your event or, if you prefer, you can bring your own cold buffet. We have a ground floor smoking area, which is easily accessible from the function area.

BUFFET OPTIONS - Available for pre-booked functions only.

BUFFET £5.00 per head - Assorted Sandwiches, Pork Pies, Sausage Rolls, Quiche, Cocktail Sausages, Cheese & Pineapple on Sticks, Crisps and Pickles.

BUFFET £7.00 per head - Assorted Sandwiches, Pork Pies, Sausage Rolls, Savoury Puffs, Samosas & Spring Rolls, Chicken Nuggets & Dips, Pasta Salad, Cocktail Sausages, Crisps, Pickles and Green Salad.

LETTING ROOMS - Our twin-bedded letting rooms come at very competitive prices. We have bathrooms equipped with showers and a kitchen is available to our guests. Works Contractors and Works Personnel are very welcome.

GROUPS - We are 'home' to our local motorcycle group MID-LIFE CRISIS MCC, who hold regular meetings in our bar and we would like to extend the invitation of a meeting place to other local groups in the area.

CAR PARK - We have an extensive car park (strictly for the use of our patrons only) located at the rear of our premises, which is accesible via Mariners Way.
